Frequently Asked Questions

๏›“

Is the parking area dog proof?

Yes. The car park area is a secure zone where once you have driven in and closed the entrance gate behind you, you can let your dog out of the car safely and securely. The car park fencing is the same fencing as the paddock, being 6ft high heavy duty dog fence, with 3cm heavy duty chicken wire at the bottom.

Can I bring a picnic?

You are welcome to bring a picnic. There is a sheltered seating area and picnic benches in the paddock. Please ensure you take your rubbish home with you.

What is your dog poo policy?

Please pick up after your dog and dispose in the poo bin provided. The bin is regularly emptied. Biodegradable bags are provided on site if you forget your own.

Do you have water supply?

Due to the rural location of the paddock, we do not have a mains water supply. Rainwater is collected for use, and during dry times a container of water is provided, which is regularly refreshed.

Is the paddock suitable for puppies and small dogs?

The whole paddock is surrounded by heavy duty wire fencing, with small (3cm) mesh size wire fencing at the bottom. There is a Small Dog Zone fenced section to enjoy, enabling you to be closer to your dog, and with smaller agility equipment. (see photo gallery)

How long can I spend at Fenland Dog Park?

The booking slots are 50 minute periods. This starts on the hour; for example, if your booking starts at 10:00 it will finish at 10:50. You are welcome to book consecutive slots if you would like longer.

How many dogs can I bring?

You are welcome to bring a maximum of up to 4 dogs on site, as this is the limit set by our council's planning permission. Your reserved time slot grants you exclusive access to the paddock.

What is the price and how do I book?

The 50 minute slot is ยฃ10.00. All bookings are done via the website. Click on Bookings and select your date and time. Once payment has been received you will receive a booking confirmation, and then a reminder a few hours before your slot, with the gate access code.

What are your opening and closing times?

We are open every day. The first available booking slot starts at 8am, and the last available booking slot starts at 6pm. Each booking slot is 50 minutes. There is no entry to the paddock without prior booking. All bookings are done via the website.
