A big thank you to all the local suppliers and our team on the ground – Fenland Dog Park is now open for business!  David and his family welcome you and your dogs to enjoy the paddock.

Fenland Dog Park website went live a few of weeks ago, and we thank all of you who subscribed to our newsletters.  Today is the first day that the paddock is open to customers and we hope that once you have booked you and your dogs have an enjoyable experience in the paddock.  Congratulations to Nina, our 1st customer, who was given a bottle of fizz and a free booking code for her and her dogs to enjoy.

Thank you very much to Henry, James, Martyn & Richard on the farm.  Your willingness and ability to create and deliver on different tasks never fails to amaze me; from making dog agility equipment and a shelter to driving the vibrating roller and continually updating the website content and keeping it fresh.  Thank you.

Also a very big thank to to all the local suppliers who have contributed to get Fenland Dog Park up and running;  Sarah at G.R Merchant Ltd, Holbeach – Architectural & Planning Consultants.  Christian at Watch The Dot, Cambridge/Plymouth – Website build and Acuity Scheduling.  George at A & C Freeman Limited, Baston – Groundworks.  Mark at Hallgate Timber, Long Sutton – Timber and hardware supplies.  Dan at ArborPost Ltd, Wisbech – Fencing & Treework Contractors.  Nick at Kwik-Signs, Sutton Bridge – Signs & Embroidery.

The most important thank you is to our local community.  Our family have been farming in Long Sutton and The Fens for over 200 years, and we have seen many changes along the way, working with and alongside our neighbours.  We will continue to work with our near neighbour residents, and offer them the chance to select on this autumns tree species and planting locations in the grass and wild flower area that surrounds Fenland Dog Park.  We will also set up a couple of face to face on site feedback sessions, with first one planned for 8-10am on Saturday 2nd September 2023 and another one in 6 months time, where the dog park users and local residents can call in to share comments and feedback.

Finally, thank you for all the recent support that has been shared on social media, and we hope that Fenland Dog Park offers the local community a safe and fun environment for you and your dogs.  Please do give us feedback through the various contact us options, and if you would like to share your visit photos on social media tagging @fenlanddogpark and using #fenlanddogpark that would be great.

Please feel free to subscribe to our Newsletters and follow us on social media @fenlanddogpark, so you are the first to know what we are up to.
