Fenland Dog Park has now been open a month and we are so grateful for the support shown by the filled booking slots and your excellent social media stories and photos.
Fenland Dog Park opened on Wednesday 26th July, with Nina and her lovely dogs being our very first customers.ย One month later and we have had over 130 different customers book to use the Dog Park, with Saturdays and Sundays being the busiest days, and Mondays being the quietest day.
We have received some amazing feedback from you on Facebook, Instagram and by email, and we love seeing and reading about your visits; it is so encouraging while we are trying our hardest to make a success of our new business.ย Facebook postings seem to be the most popular, and we have now got over 400 Followers, and you have kindly given us sixteen 5-star reviews โ thank you and please keep them coming!
Since we have opened, we have added a few new features either to Fenland Dog Park or the website. ย At the beginning of August, we added a new โselfieโ board, and the first five customers who tagged us in their photos using the selfie board received a discount code for a future visit โ thank you and congratulations!ย We have also had some helpful feedback on how we could further improve the Dog Park, and we will look to instal some of these suggestions in the coming months, such as a sandpit and a stoned area at the inside of the entrance gate, to help keep this area cleaner to walk on, especially as we approach the wetter months of the year.ย Another of your suggestions was to offer โBundle Packagesโ of bulk booking slots to reward regular customers with a discounted price.ย These Bundle Packages are now available to book online and we have 5 Slots (8% off), 10 Slots (12.5% off) or 20 Slots (15% off).
The most popular question we get asked is if you can bring your five or six dogs.ย Unfortunately, we have had to reply that our maximum is 4 dogs on site at any one time, due to a Council Planning restriction, but we are logging all of these requests.ย The maximum 4 dog rule is highlighted at the booking page, in the FAQs, and is reminded in the booking confirmation email.ย Thank you for your understanding on this and respecting this restriction.
On Saturday 2nd September between 08:00 and 10:00 we are holding our first face to face on site feedback session, where the Dog Park users and local residents can call in and share comments and give feedback.ย Being aware that not everyone is on social media or the internet, we also dropped in an A4 paper invite to the nearest 50 properties to help them be aware of this event.
